How to use our mug moulds:
Place a rectangular soft-leather-hard-stage slab and a circular piece around the mug mould, scoring and attaching the joins and smoothing with a rib before pulling the mould out of the clay form. Adjust the height of your cup/mug by reducing the width of your rectangular slab (you can do this at slab stage/before moulding, or cut after when it's on the mould). To make small dishes, simply mould a circular slab of clay over the bottom of the mug mould. Here's our full step-by-step tutorial.
Fin Pottery Tools pottery forms are designed and made in Australia from high-quality MDF. They are machine made and hand finished, and available in a variety of shapes and sizes.
