This metallic glaze prefers Cone 5 specifically and requires a thick application to create the metallic effect (we recommend three to four heavy coats).
It is formulated to be very soft in order to allow it to break. It will run to an extreme degree when applied to vertical surfaces and should be primarily used on flat surfaces.
All of the Spectrum Stoneware 1100 Series glazes are compatible with each other, giving exciting effects when layered with a few coats of each glaze.
